The Windsor Area Ambulance is comprised of (12) EMT-Basics, EMT-Paramedics and a Field RN. They cover a district that is 12 miles wide and 15 miles long and contains approximately 3,000 people. In the summer of 2007, the service upgraded to the ALS level of care. The City owns (2) two ambulances. One unit is licensed as ALS (Advanced Life Support), and the other is BLS (Basic Life Support). The ambulance service is on call, 24hrs a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year!
